::I've been frustrated by the inability of my current provider to solve my issues with an enlarged prostate and the headaches that causes. When I discovered VIE, and the process of prostate arterial embolization, it looked like the best approach to dealing with an enlarged prostate I'd found to date. Unfortunately, my insurance will not cover the procedure. When I went in for a consultation with Dr. Cummings at VIE, he was confident and open and listened to my concern. When he explained that I would be a good candidate for the procedure, and that VIE would go to bat to try and get me approved, it gave me hope I wouldn't have to continue waking up 4-5 times a night and stand there forever waiting for my bladder to empty. Hopefully he and VIE will get the procedure approved, so I can move forward.

::Dr Wolfe and her care team were above and beyond exceptional!!! You have literally changed my life. After visiting with 3 different ob/gyn doctors at different offices, all telling me that a hysterectomy was the only way to get rid of my ongoing fibroid issue, Dr. Wolfe spent the time to explain that I truly did have other options!! ::It took referrals to an internist, then to a rheumatologist, then to my endocrinologist Dr. Gonzalez who finally send me to Dr. Wolf and her team to properly diagnose my venal insufficiency as the cause of my leg and foot pain. Dr. Wolf was very thorough with her explanation of my condition and the treatment options available. They are trying to get me scheduled for two procedures as soon as possible. The jury will still out until several weeks post surgery but I made dramatic progress after the first visit with some simple compression socks and a supplement. Hopefully, I will recover so I can officiate baseball and soccer and teach construction this summer.
