::This is truly one of the best places I've been to. Its not only a salon this place is like family they really care about your hair. They are serious about curl care or any type of hair. It doesn't matter what i'm going through because once I get there Its all smiles and positive Vibes. Every single person that works here is a blessing. Nubia is truly a curl expert. William did my color and I love it so much. Chris has so much knowledge in hair he enjoys it its beautiful. The girls that assists the hair stylist are amazing!. Isabella in the front is a whole mood. shes the bomb. Thank you for being so awesome to our curl community. Curls do not go unnoticed here. I know people that travels from others states to get a cut with Nubia and its so worth it !!!!

::PLEASE READ I called to make an appointment with the salon uber excited because I saw they did a few of my favorite Instagram curly girls online. When I called, the lady that answered did not have good phone etiquette and placed me on hold several times because her phone kept ringing. (Take one at a time? & call back anyone you missed?).. anyways when we talked I told her I was excited to make an appt with Nubia and so we made an appointment a month out. She said there was a 30$ charge to make an appointment. I asked her if it gets refunded back to me in the case that I have to call to cancel. She said yes as long as it is at least a days notice. (I live in Virginia so I wanted to ask because I'll be driving 3 hours to get to the salon so I may have to cancel incase something comes up). 2 weeks ago I called to cancel my appointment because my job ended up needing me for this Thursday. She confirmed my name and appointment time and told me 2 weeks ago it was cancelled. I still have not seen a refund so I called them 3 times over a 3 day period and no one has bothered to call me back after I left a respectful voicemail regarding my situation. I am very dissapointed with my experience and I'm very glad I'm not driving to go to this salon because of the poor service they have without even having gone to them yet. I DO NOT recommend going here. There are other top curly hair places to choose from with better service.

::PLEASE READ!! Two weeks ago, I had a hair consultation with Christopher where we discussed my wanting to dye my natural brown curly hair to an ashy blonde. He was aware of the exact color I wanted; I was told it would be $125 for the initial cost and $25 per extra bottle of bleach/dye and that he expects mine to use about 2-3 bottles. Estimating to pay around $175, I was tossed around the salon like musical chairs for SEVEN hours. Then, when it came time to pay I was charged $565 by the receptionist. After asking her to go over the pricing with me and what I was being charged for, I was told "that's the price," and that they charge $125 by the hour. So, not only did they charge me "per hour" but also for a "transformation" and "curl set" that I was never asked if I wanted to have done? Sitting underneath a dryer that didn't even dry my hair costs $65. Had I been given the option to decline these services I would have. Think twice before going here unless you want to spend a fortune.

::The manicure technician Emy was ok for the nail service but the nail polish just start to peeling off only 1 day after, besides she was not so friendly at all specially with my 9 yrs old daughter. She remained serious most of the time unless I would ask her something seriously? Don't get me wrong but if you work in a salon you must be welcoming and friendly with your clients because it is 50% base of any good salon/spa. It was our first time there and I really expected a better treatment. Not coming back again for manicure services or recommending. Those employees must be trained according or they may might want to try a different job where they don't need to talk to people!
