  If I could give this place a zero I would. I took our little dog there for a month before I learned my lesson and vowed to never return. She had a serious infection and received TERRIBLE care. They were always running VERY BEHIND, the dr (granson) seemed far more interested in getting more money out of our family than helping our dog, and when we had a test done, we were told it be be “very soon” to get results, not a whole WEEK! Not to mention some of their front desk staff are just RUDE! The guy up front had a lot of attitude, which was so upsetting. They came up w so many excuses but provided so little help and comfort. NEVER GOING BACK. Not to mention they charge a lot, in return for free WiFi and fancy wine and mimosas. I’m there to help my dog in an affordable manner, not to DRINK ALCOHOL! Plenty other places nearby with better care, more appreciation for clients’ valuable time, better prices and more empathy.

  Wonderful vet practice. The vet and the techs always put your dog or cat's needs first. Quickly diagnosed a rare issue with our dog. We have also used for regular check ups and for teeth cleaning. Highly recommend.

  The staff at Urban Animal Veterinary Hospital impressed me with their thoroughness, ability to listen, and work with you to develop a practical treatment plan. Dr. Granson took her time to examine my sweet dog, discovered an issue my past veterinarian had missed and discovered Emma did not have glaucoma - which my other vet said she did! Dr. Granson even got on the floor to give Emma treats while the technician trimmed her nails. Emma now enjoys going to the vet again. I enjoy the flexible hours which fits my schedule. I highly recommend them.

  Urban Animal Vet is young, caring, energetic, warm, friendly and they have a great location in the Heights area. Dr. Hilary has compassion and a love and understanding of animals. What more could you ask for? Okay, they also have Mimosa's in case you are thirsty. Rose and my pet, "Girlfriend".

  Hands down THE best vet in the City. Amazing people, care and compassion. Plus the most fun, cool professionals around. Its the kind of place that makes me and Bear want to just hang around. Wouldn’t take my dogs anywhere else.
