  I didn't even want to go to the ER because I dread the long hours of waiting and the lack of hospitality, I often experience in emergency rooms. I googled hospitals near me and found this gem. I've been to Brookdale and Woodhull- and I HATE IT!! Brooklyn isn't bad but you still wait extremely long. I decided to come to Downstate and it was the best decision. The staff here is very very nice. The doctor right away, sounded like he knew what he was talking about and they registered me within minutes. Shortest ER experience ever! Would def recommend if your in the Bedstuy, Brownsville and East NY location.
