  I took several (old ) items ( Portable tv , lamps, lighted mirrors ) to be repaired at this shop. Mr Tom had done a great job with all of them. I had never needed to return for problems. ( they offer some weeks guarantee for their work done) He charges a fee to see if the item is fixable, and honestly tells you in advance if the piece is worth to be repaired He is knowledgable and works pretty quick considering he may need to order some old model parts. I highly recommend them, they had been in that business, in the same place for over 20 years!

  i took and old hk receiver to tom and he was able to bring it back to life. would recommend to anyone needing work on electronics equipment.

  I have a 7 year old LG 51" flat screen TV. The main board went out in December 2017. I dropped off at a tv repair shop in Stafford. They charged $40 for diagnosis, which is very reasonable. They found the problem and wanted a 50% downpayment to order the new board. After many excuses , I went and picked my TV up early last week: March 13th of 2018. They said the part just doesn't exist anymore...WRONG!! I took the TV to United VTR Service last Thursday and dealt with Tom. His original price for his own diagnosis was going to be $80 but he did agree to drop it to $60 since I already had paid for one with the other shop. I have my TV back today after only 5 days. It has been repaired as promised, and for a fair price. I saw it working at the shop so my satisfaction is with assumption of course that it lasts awhile. There is a 90 day warranty as well.

  I give this company 5 Stars! The company fixed by 20 year old 5 disc Sony CD changer in less than 1 week. The owner is very attentive. He even returned to me by mail one of my CDs left at his shop. My CD changer is working just fine now.
