::The post office in general can do alot better. The women on the window are very nice, and are very fast they try to make everyone feel comfortable if you are not comfortable in the post office or you dont mail often see Ari, she will help as much as she can. They don't answer the phone and managers are the people designated to answer. The carriers are given orders to not make over 8 hours but have a ton of packages. The young people thats on some routes dont care its clear and thats not right, I've found if you dont have a attitude coming in you wont have one leaving out. The post office in general is understaffed and work the employees they do have into the ground. Mail does get lost a lot more than it should and there is no communication when dealing with someones package. People if you are ordering can goods, water, animal food, liter, house furniture, etc get your asses up and go to the store I wouldn't deliver it either I would have you come get it from your station for the people that dont like this post office dont go to it but you wont go to ups or fed ex because it cost more.. Just keep complaining but im sure you will be back.

::Come before 4pm on weekends and 12Noon on Saturdays, otherwise the lines are too long. Ari Ford was exceptionally helpful with my package (international priority mail) and generally very kind and patient. One person can really make a difference by remaining curteous under stress. Thank you for that. Some of the reviews here are quite harsh, which is unfortunate. We would like to add that we have come to this post office for three years and never had a problem.

::This branch has the worst postal workers I have ever had to deal with. I've witnessed first hand their incompetence. They will mark a package as "delivered", especially for Amazon deliveries on Sunday, but won't deliver the package until another day. They do this because they don't want to deliver heavy packages or to avoid breaking their contract with Amazon. I've called and complained to this post office but just keep getting ignored. Also, be warned: If you go into the post office to pick up anything. Expect rude attitudes and to get yelled at because you trying to get your package that they refuse to deliver. Then they start apologizing when they actually bring out your package and say "We will look into why this wasn't delivered." I've heard this 10 times and nothing has changed. Recommendation: If you have to use this post office, or need packages delivered in this office's delivery area..... don't and have it shipped to a friends house or something.... in another parish.

::This location stays open later than the other "neighborhood" post offices. I work 8-5. As a full time employee unable to walk out of work during the day, and a chronic procrastinator, it is providing me with a great service. I use this location a lot on Saturdays. I find the parking easy, the attendants professional, with just the right amount of chit-chat to make me feel welcome. They swiftly and seamlessly move to the next customer. Can't beat the price for the service. I found out that Fed Ex raised their rates for shipping to Puerto Rico after hurricane Maria. Not USPS!

::Unbelievable. A package gas been tracked "out for delivery" for over a week. One delivery attempt to my business at 5:38pm. We were open!! I went to the PO on Loyola, no package there, and nobody seems to know where it is. Don't make me call Donald trump!!!
