::Jasmine was an absolute angel when she helped me mail several packages at the same time fifteen minutes before they closed, even when I bought stamps too last minute. She was quick, efficient, and helped with a big smile, after already working for 12 hours today! I am going to continue to drive the extra ten minutes to only use this post office. Awesome service, even when you're "that" customer.

::After my wonderful experience this morning I saved this post office in my phone as “Best New Orleans Post Office”. I had been mailing some important business documents so overheard the ‘above and beyond’ style of customer service for 4-5 different customers. When I approached the counter, I got the exact same genuinely friendly and professional attention.

::TERRIBLE!!! One person workinglines full of people! Smelled terrible inside!!!! This is horrible for the 1 employee. How cheap and sorry that they put one person through all those people! Clean up NEW ORLEANS!!

::I have been trying to call this place for almost a half hour. Whoever is there keeps picking up and hanging up the phone. All I want is the key for the parcel box because they left a note telling me the key was there for my package, but it wasn't. I expect some kind of reply here. Update: After calling for two and a half hours, I finally got a person to pick up. I explained what I wanted, and with no preamble at all, the woman on the phone starting rattling off numbers to me. "That's the number for your carrier," she said and hung up. I never even told her the address to my place, but okay. I tried calling the number she gave--it's been disconnected. Tried calling back the office (six times) with no response.

::Smaller than most USPS, but it gets the job done. A small percentage of the time, it's kind of crowded & I'm more than sure that's basically because of the size; but these ladies move at lightening speed WITH accuracy to process transactions so one can get in and out. Hello, I always pull a STICK & MOVE CAPER; in and out just as fast. This place is like a well kept secret. And rightfully so. Ample parking for it's size. And the view of the Bayou is simply magnificent.
