::This post office seems fine to me. Convenient location not far from the off ramp. Staff seem about as enthusiastic about their jobs like the weather is in Portland, bleak. Holds true for other locations in downtown. Dropped off a package and it hasn't had any trouble moving through the network.

::Horribly rude post office. I called to ask if it’s okay that I am a little bit late to pick up a package and the woman on the phone assured me that it’s fine. I arrived to see all staff still in the post office and no one would even look at me or acknowledge I was there. At the very least have the courteousy to shake your head “no” at any latecomers you will not accept. Atrocious manners here.

::There is an extremely rude lady at the counter in this location!!!! She has long dark hair and about 5"3" of height. She always answers with one word and slams down whatever I purchase on the counter and throw my ID and credit card on the scale. However, I saw her being much nicer when she dealt with Caucasians. There is a much nicer and efficient officer on the other hand which added one star to this review.

::Hey! Customers how about putting items in boxes, taping them up and addressing before standing in line.

::I moved in to my PSU dorm and about a week later, they sent me a slip saying that they believed "my address is vacant". I filled out their stupid little slip and sent it back in the mail. TWO WEEKS later I still had not received any mail, so I tried calling them. After having to fight their answering bot for 15 minutes, I was told there was a 40-50 minute hold time to speak to a human being. 40-50 minutes? I could call the dmv at 3pm on a monday and get better hold times. Finally after almost an hour of waiting on hold, someone picked up just to tell me that they had not received their own slip that they sent me (even though I followed every instruction on it perfectly) and they needed me to confirm things over the phone. After 2 minutes of talking to the most unconcerned and uncaring women I have ever had the displeasure of speaking to, she told me she had sent an email out to the carrier regarding the issue, and I should be getting my mail NEXT WEEK, and if it didn't all fit in my box, they would be THROWING AWAY 3rd class mail to make it fit. That is 3 weeks after I should have received the mail, plus they are throwing away some of it. I have personally never seen a post office (or any government office for that matter) be so incompetent. If I could give a 0 star review I would. Avoid these people at all costs.
