  In January of 2018 my husband and I walked into a rainforest.... INSIDE our home. Unfortunately during an unpredictably cold winter we experienced a failure in our HVAC system which caused water damage throughout our entire home. We were both devastated by the damage and in complete shock as to what to do next. We were fortunate enough to receive a recommendation to hire a New York public insurance claim adjuster to work on our behalf. A friend advised us to call Philip and Michael Maltaghati of United Public Adjusters & Appraisers. We have been beyond thrilled with our experience. Michael & Phil arrived within a couple of hours and guided us seamlessly through the entire process. They were always available at all hours to answer all of our questions. They are both extremely knowledgable and worked quickly and diligently to have our claim settled much faster then we anticipated and really helped us recuperate our loss. They fought hard to get us the true value of our home so we could rebuild the entire interior back to its original form. I would not hesitate recommending Michael and Phil to anyone who finds themselves in these unfortunate situations. They have a strong work ethic, vast expertise in this field, are respectful, efficient, effective and extraordinarily hard working.

  Phil Maltaghati and his team at United Public Adjusters really came to our rescue after our parents' house was catastrophically flooded this winter. I remember meeting Phil in January, standing on the waterlogged rug, in the dark and cold (since we had lost electricity and heat) and signing our agreement by flashlight. This was the best thing that could have happened to us, since he immediately arranged for the emergency work to be done. He was available night and day to address our concerns. In the ensuing months, he and his team then really pushed our insurance company to get a fair compensation for our loss. I can't even imagine how we would have gotten through this process without Phil Maltaghati and United Public Adjusters.

  The Maltaghati brothers and their team are NINJA'S at what they do. They have been relentless in dealing with the insurance companies on our behalf after losing our home of 17 years in the US Virgin Islands as a result of hurricane Irma. Their tenacity, professionalism and swiftness is nothing short of beyond impressive. Additionally, they were always MORE than patient with me, a well educated woman who just happened to know nothing when it came time to file a claim, which you seriously need a DEGREE in because it's beyond confusing. And unless you are educated in the entire process and all of the finesse required, the average consumer would NEVER be able to get through it SUCCESSFULLY, never mind receiving an almost FULL payout in less than 6 months from start to finish. I would NEVER dream of being able to navigate this again without this team fighting for me. They are miraculous and the nicest guys ever! THANK YOU to infinity!!!! YOU GUYS ARE TRULY THE BEST AT WHAT YOU DO AND I'VE BEEN IN AWE SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS JOURNEY! BRAVO!!!!!

  Mike supported my claim every step of the way and provided guidance to me when I had a major flood in my basement. His partner James processed all paper work and supporting documentation. Both men worked hard for me to get everything that I was owed and were a major support during a very stressful time. I would highly recommend them!

  I've recently done business with United Public Adjusters and I must say, their service and market knowledge is outstanding. All of my technical questions were answered in addition to providing me with solid peace of mind in relation to a water property damage concern I was experiencing in my home.
