  Really great station. However, as the time of my Amtrak departure got closer I realised I couldn't find any one to speak to about checking in my luggage. No signs on the platform which was easy to find. There is a hotel next to the platforms that clearly used to be the station building. It now has lots of shops as well as the hotel. I had a bike with me so it wasn't appropriate to go exploring around the shopping centre with it. Any way, I worked out just in time that there is an Amtrak desk in the terminal hotel building.

  I've always loved this place! From the history to the overall atmosphere it makes for a great meet up place and hangout spot. Along with the many different restaurant options around that area, and within Union station as well. Including, the many things to see and do all within walking distance it's definitely one of Denver's major focal points.

  The station was apparently renovated before I moved to Denver in July/2016. I love the work that's been done to it. There's a number of restaurants and bars in and around the station. It's a great meeting point, and is an incredibly efficient transport hub. Out-of-towners can also stay at the Crawford Hotel which is built into Union Station!

  The recently renovated Union Station is stunning. They've done a great job turning this historic transit hub into a gathering place for everyone in the LoDo area. Check out the Terminal Bar for great drinks, or wander the corridors for places like Snooze or The Kitchen Next Door to grab a bite. If you have some time, play some shuffle board in the main hall while enjoying a Colorado craft brew.

  One of the most unique train stations I've ever been in. It was absolutely beautiful both inside and out. A hub for transportation to and from downtown but so much more. $9 will get you to the airport or from the airport to union station. Coming from the airport and going to it the train to/from union station was my choice. The shops and food and bars inside are all really nice. Happy hour specials on both food and drinks was available at Union station bar. I enjoyed hanging out there either before I headed out or after a night out each day I was in Denver. Lots of seating and comfortable areas to work from and charging stations are everywhere so you can stay powered up. Clean bathrooms were also a plus! People watching here was great and it was easy to find others to spark up a convo with. Seemed like a jumping spot to get your night out started as each night well dressed groups of people flowed in to have drinks or meet up. Definitely a must see/go to place.
