  This is the NYC equivalent to a roadside motel. It looks like a converted halfway house. The rooms are literally the size of a prison cell and you have to turn sideways to get between the bed and the wall to the bathroom. You hear EVERYTHING. From guys next door saying out loud what I was thinking about the room to the people on the street wondering where the ax-throwing place is (I was on the top floor). You have to slam the door in order to close it behind you so you'll be awakened at least 3 times by people coming back to their rooms then you can listen to them complaining about said room. If you want an efficiently small room, go to the Pod. They do efficient comfort right.

  This Spot is real New Yorker certified. I say this because the service is what we supposed to get. You got the money...cover that hotel fee (drop a deposit / Insurance) and people mind their business. You get Coffe, Tea, Ice, access to microwave and tap in a downstairs cafeteria with sitting access and a backyard to boot. It's chill, clean, modern decor style, free cable w/flatscreen and has nearby eats and delivery right in the block. Train and gas stations nearby blocks. You are officially put on notice that it's the "Telly" you gonna trust for better moments. I suggest using their "Hot Deals" and a few nights booked with your surroundings on deck.

  Staff did not know how to check me in, maybe still learning, which honestly was ridiculous! Hour later finally checked in...Extremely Small old Room and can hear everything from hall, but still alright (Bath, TV, Corner Bed) but Heater was old and not working properly. Then they also double charged me, as the cherry on top. However did get a late checkout

  Staff were great, but for a place that advertises a noise proof experience, it was sorely lacking. Never been in a smaller shower in my life and the hot water seemed to be it both nights (fine in the morning) which was less than ideal Pretty good location in Brooklyn.
