  This station is about 99% empty. Milwaukee's train station is much smaller, but has a shop & a convenience store with quite a few breakfast foods available. This place has a sorry excuse for a coffee shop, and pretty much it. I guess I've been spoiled by Japanese train stations that have no less than 10 restaurants attached to them. This place has just bathrooms spaced far apart as humanly possible. Forget the historical value, tear it down and build something modern from it. Replace shady characters that wander the halls with stores & places to eat. WW1 is over.

  Beautiful artwork, but lacked a coffee and food kiosk, as well as information center.

  My trip from Portland to St Paul was a pleasure, thanks in great part to Debbie, our porter. I couldn't afford a sleeper car, but was lucky enough to have an empty seat next to me the whole way. Only complaint I might have is that the food in the snack bar was overpriced and not very tasty. I will ride Amtrak whenever possible rather than endure the rudeness and discomfort of the airlines.

  St.Paul MN amtrak provided a peaceful stay. The artwork is simply magical along with the atmosphere. Even though the beverage machines can be more accurate with providing the necessary service, I was a satisfied customer.
