  Masquerade was fun, but the mall is closed and there is little to no activity. I believe the whole venue will be closed soon with underground being sold to a developer from New York.

  I don't know what's supposed to be there, exactly, but we found not much. Paid $20 to park and go look at... nothing. There is a very large building there that is closed to the public. I think the stores we wanted to visit were in there. Perhaps Underground Atlanta is under renovations. Of so, the city should put notices up. Giving two stars because the guys running the Foot Locker were super nice. But it was super cold in there, and it had way less inventory than a regular Foot Locker.

  It isn't the Underground of yesteryear. It's all on the upper streets and 95% of their vendors are gone. It looks like a ghost town. Plus, the people walking and standing around there seem extremely sketchy. Also, let's not forget the parking fiasco. They have digital parking meters where you have to input your FULL LICENSE PLATE and pay astronomical rates... Don't bother attempting to shop here....just drive to Lenox instead. I would give negative stars if I could.

  Every thing is closing, but a homeless man told me they were going to make this place high rise apartments. He also said security and police bother them on a daily basis. He said he had been coming out there every day for 50 years with no problems, but now they can't even sit down without some type of harassment.

  This is a nice tourist spot. When I first visited Atlanta this place was recommended by a friend. We walked around and there are nice shops to visit and restaurants to grab a snack and a bite or a drink around there. It is usually pretty crowded but that is to be expected with a popular tourist spot. Not that we live in ATL I still visit every now and then. It will always be a special place for our family. Go during the day time and you may see some popular people. I once saw Usher Raymond there. That was cool.
