  Really tasty food. Possibly the best sushi I’ve ever had. Generous portion sizes and quick service. Would definitely go back.

  I really wanted to give them a 5 star but unfortunately I cannot. I ordered from this place twice a week. My husband is a vegan we always order the steamed broccoli normally always comes with white rice brown sauce on the side for $6.00 there menu says $8.50. Today I called to order the usual bubble tea, steamed broccoli, pork gyoza. The lady tells me it's $11 for the steamed broccoli.. I told her I have never been charged that much. I proceed on explaining to her that her menu online says 850 and I have usually paid on the receipts $6 dollars she says it's additional for the white rice and the brown sauce we argued for 30 minutes.! Sad to let you go! I have been told about this place, watch the prices as they fluctuate and they choose the prices based off of what they want to charge you that day!. Please check your receipts and make sure they're not overcharging you for something you already know you have paid in the past

  I very rarely leave reviews, and I only leave them in instances where I have had a very poor experience. I called Umi and outlined everything that I would have liked in a bento box. A fairly simple request, spicy salmon, chicken w/ broccoli & fried rice, and shrimp shumai because i was born Muslim and I don't eat pork. They not only completely got my order wrong but I'm now on day 4 of dealing with food poisoning / a stomach bug I got from eating their food. I will never eat from this place again.

  We ordered Hibachi rice bowl and some sushi rolls. Variety of nutrients, friendly service and fast delivering. Food is not bad considering for a quick bite. Would love to come again!

  Umi in Bayonne!! Amazing food!! Highly recommend. Their whole menu is good with affordable prices. I am a sushi and basically all Asian cuisine fanatic so i am always looking for new spots and Umi did not disappoint. They also have very good bubble tea. Passion fruit and Mango black tea are my favorite. Very nice staff too.
