  Wow!!!! Worst experience ever slack customer service I came all the way from Texas I'm on the process of moving to New York Queens and the guy who was on the front desk saw my ID from Texas he laughed and said !!you cannot use that here!!without explanation, I asked why and he said you need to talk to my supervisor Clarissa no wonder this gym is only $14 99 a month. I only give one star because I have ultimate fitness desert no star. I don't get it looks like owner don't care who is running the business. LA fitness same price and great gym and customer service. Feel sorry for for BQE gym.

  I’ll been going here for years. But lately the gym smells horrible and is dirty also 90% of the machines don’t work . Im actually looking for a new gym.

  Been going here for years. It's definitely not Equinox... but then again I would never go to a gym like that anyway. I like my gym a little gritty and unpolished like this gym is. I like the atmosphere in that nobody is there just to socialize. Just go put in work and leave. There's no annoying snobby people complaining, no kids running around, no nonsense. The staff is incredible. Just as they should be. Available if you need something, but not in your face. No pushy sales people trying to sell personal training and they're not annoyingly overly friendly like at other gyms. I like that the free weights are completely separate from cardio. Yea, sometimes the machines don't work, sometimes the jerk before you didn't clean the bench, it can be crowded at times, and I've honestly never once seen the dumbells organized by weight. But that's every gym. If you're looking for a no frills gym with adequate space and equipment for a reasonable price that you can drop a weight without an offended millenial or soccer mom complaining... this is the gym for you. And yea it smells sometimes. It's a damn gym.

  Large gym, 3 floors, plenty of space, shakes are good but pricey, foods ok. Membership isn’t expensive but to bring a guest is. Always smells, weights are NEVER where they belong, always at least 2 machines not working bathroom stalls smell terrible, 60% of the lockers have a “reserved” lock on the at all times, equipment is old we pay a maintenance fee but nothing is ever maintained. Also the floors are really dirty.

  Was super excited to go until I arrived. Went on three machines and none of them worked. They charge A dollar for a stained small towel. Parking was good but did not feel at all a clean gym. Things were falling apart, which it is what is is. But it felt dirty to me. The bathroom had rugs that were soaked from the shower. That sounds like a bacteria/infection just waiting to happen!!!
