::The store was nice but no one asked if we need any help

::Nice place to go for your cosmetics for shopping. My wife seemed to like this please because of the variety of products another in this store. Also, it's in a great location with plenty of stores shopping and food.

::Yesterday was the first time I went to this location. I was greeted when I walked in the door and while browsing at products I was approached asking me if there was anything that I need. I always buy the same brand but wanted to try a new product by them. She was knowledgeable and helped in that decision making process. Everyone in this store spoke to me and made this my favorite location.

::I was the only customer in the store at one point during my visit, during the 20 minutes I was there only 2 other customers entered and shopped. I was not only not assisted with the products I was clearly exploring but I was not even greeted or acknowledged as being in the store. At three different times, associates were at the same displays as I was browsing and I never heard a single word from any of them. Eventually I put my stuff down and left. I would much rather give my money to a location that can be bothered with my presence.

::So bummed! I had never gone to this Ulta before, and was super disappointed by the customer service. I walked in and in the forty-five minutes I was there I wasn't helped at all. At one point, my boyfriend was sitting and googling reviews for me on different products, because the staff who I did ask for help kept repeating that they didn't use X brand or X product...when I pressed for suggestions, I felt like I was bothering them and wasting both of our time. I asked one person about suggestions for Korean beauty products, and rather than referring me to someone with that knowledge, she offered me no info. The general manager--Abby? Amy?--was so rude! I was super overwhelmed by all the eyebrow stuff, and when I mentioned I used Anastasia she brought me there and left. However, having been there for thirty minutes without help, I got her attention back and kept asking my questions. When I asked about why the brow duo had two colours, she asked if I dye my hair--when I said no, she said "then you wouldn't understand"--err, ok can you explain then?! Then when I asked for help matching colours, it felt like I was seriously infringing on her. I guess back to Sephora for me--the higher prices are worth the customer service. However it gets 2 stars, because Ulta as a company is great for providing so many different various makeup and skin-care companies at a range of prices.
