::THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HOSPITAL I HAVE ENCOUNTER WITH THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS!!!! IF YOU HAVE A UK STUDENT DO NOT LET THEM BE SEEN IN THIS HOSPITAL THEY WILL NOT TREAT YOUR CHILD WITH DIGNITY OR RESPECT. AS A PARENT IT IS ALREADY HARD ENOUGH WITH YOUR CHILD BE AWAY FROM YOU BUT THEN WHEN THEY ARE TREATED WITH SUCH LITTLE RESPECT AND YOU CAN DO NOTHING ABOUT IT IS AWFUL

::I went in for stomach pains almost a month ago. I had very little wait time in the waiting room before I was seen, even tho the ER was very busy and I had to take a bed that was out in the hall the staff was very attentive to me while they tried to figure out what was wrong with me. After some quick tests they were able to determine it was my gallbladder and I needed to be admitted for surgery the next day. The moment my official hospital stay started I had great encounters with every single LPN, RN, surgeon, doctor and staff member that cared for me. I was very nervous about my surgery because I had only ever had one minor surgery before, and I've never had anything that I was born with removed from me, so my anxiety was a little high. But everyone who cared for me made it all a bit easier. I received 10 star care while I was waiting in pre-op, post-op and no doubt while in the actually surgery as well. Wonderful staff, hands down.

::My brother is in Kentucky for work, we are from Illinois. He broke his wrist today and I called to see if I could find anything out as to how he was doing. Mind you, he is there without any family & we are 7+ hours away. When I called I knew they may not be able to give details, but when explaining the situation, Peggy (the nurse at the ER nurses station) completely cut me off and asked what I wanted. I then simply stated that I just wanted to know how my brother was doing & she snapped at me stating that he was there, in their care, and hung up on me!! I realize you may not to give out details, but have a heart and understand where a concerned family member is coming from. I hope he gets the hell out of there soon and finds care in a place with some manners and decency. Unbelievable!!

::During the take over of Good Sam by UK some things were a little rough with communication and the addition of so many new medical professionals for a couple years. The kinks have been worked out and the care as well as the professionalism of the staff is outstanding. I have gone to Good Sam several times over forty years. I was there for outpatient testing yesterday. The care was superior.
