  I showed up this morning for an MIBG injection and as I was getting ready to head upstairs to check in, I get a call from someone in the radiology dept. He tells me that the injection medicine is stuck in Chicago and they won't be doing the injection. I came up from Mtn. View which is a 40 mile drive to and from. I had spoke with a lady yesterday who worked in the hospital, and she told me that she was mixing the medicine to be injected and she asked if I had any allergies to any medications. So, I was under the impression that the injection would be readily available for me when I arrived this morning. I was never told that this stuff had to be flown in from out of state. Very terrible patient services. I was very pissed off and unsatisfied with their explanation of what had happened. Sounded like a piss poor excuse to me for it not being ready.

  Typical wait. UCSF is a great hospital. Got a ct scan and headed home!
