  I was profiled as soon as we walked in. The owner seemed nervous. I have worked in retail for years, mainly in Bergen County. I specialize in client experience and I can not believe what happened to my son and I here. I am Italian, my son Jamaican and Italian. I truly believe that the owner profiled us and did not want to rent is anything. He kept making excuses as to why....at one point he was even saying that his phone and credit card machine wasn’t working. He asked me if I was willing to buy the suit...it’s an Ivory shawl collar, my son is 17, when is he going to wear it again? I asked how much he said $249, I said meh, he said how much do you think you are going to pay to rent it? I was shocked!!! I will be taking this further and reporting his establishment for his racism and bias.

  Just returned tux from wedding this weekend, , been a repeat customer for years, consistent customer service, the only thing that changes is my tux size.

  This is my new goto tuxedo shop, I needed a tux for sweet sixteen parties and they were flexible with me with return times and extended rentals. Thanks so much and definitely recommended. Ask for frank!

  Awful customer service. Rented a tux several months in advance, was told to call 3-4 weeks prior to wedding date for fitting and if I want to make any changes (undecided about some details). Called 3-4 weeks and was given attitude for calling. The owner is rude and unpleasant to talk to over the phone. Very unprofessional. I called the week of pickup to ensure that the tux would be there when The receipt said it would be. He yelled at me on the phone to tell me that I must not have checked the receipt because if I had it would have been crystal clear that it would be ready on thurs and not weds. Feeling insulted, I checked the receipt and was right, when I called back he called me a little "snot" and said I was harassing him... FOR ASKING ABOUT MY ORDER THE WEEK OF MY WEDDING! He told me to take my money elsewhere because he didn't want to work with me, and when I asked for his name, his reply was, "My name is Frank, I'm the owner, so if you want to write a stupid letter it'll come right to me!" Unfortunately, I could not rent from anywhere else on such short notice (2 days). I was left feeling insulted and disgusted at Frank's customer service despite exclaiming that he had been working with people for 30 years and knew what he was doing. I am appalled at such behavior and was really disappointed in him, and Tuxedo World. Do not rent here, Mens Wearhouse has a great selection, more locations, and is ridiculously accommodating. Seriously, consider anywhere else and save yourself the trouble.

  Rented 6 tux's for a wedding. Ordering process was smooth and easy. Everything was ready when promised without missing or damaged items. Return was smooth. Could not ask for better service.
