::On some days they have several choices of fresh lamb, on some others the choices are limited. You need to pre-order legs of lamb if you want to be sure. The butcher is very helpful with grinding/cubing the meat. They used to have more Turkish fresh deserts other than baklava.

::My absolute favorite minimarket in NYC. This place has a great halal butcher shop, deli and all the Turkish and Arabic foods your heart desires. Tasbih, Sujuk, even a Turkish toast sandwich and coffee. Don't let the size fool ya, this place has got it all. Besides all that the workers are classy and good Muslims. I'm hungry for this place just thinking about it 🇹🇷

::A wonderful assortment of delicious nuts, dried fruit, teas, etc... at great prices.

::Go to place in Queens for Turkish groceries. You can find seasonal fresh fruits that do not necessarily make it to the mainstream grocery markets like green plums and fresh green almonds. For me it's worth the trip to Sunnyside
