::I've been looking for an instrument for over 2 yrs now and since I knew what I was looking for...well it's taken me 2 years. Lou (the owner of TVS) has been wonderful to work with...he's always been patient, informative and always willing to meet your needs especially concerning an amazing instrument setup. When I was looking for an instrument, everyone in the Tulsa Symphony, Signature Symphony, and Tulsa string teaching community always said to go see Lou. I have no affiliation with TVS except for an amazing instrument which I purchased there. It is important to me that such a wonderful Tulsa treasure stays in our community! ::The Tulsa Violin Shop was recommended to me by my violin teacher for the repair of my violin. They repaired my "student level" violin. They demonstrated knowledge of violins, courtesy, and patience with my questions. This all was at a great price. I was so impressed I bought my next level violin that day. They worked with me to find the instrument that fit my playing style and helped me find the instrument that produced the sound I loved. They actually stayed through their lunch playing different violins for me while I listened. Very Cool!!! I would recommend this shop to anyone!!! I will be taking all my violin repair to them in the future. PS - I checked the price I paid for my "advanced" level violin, case, and bow.
