  Far above 42nd Street there's a park. With trees and squirrels and birds and park benches and quiet. Try it. You're liable to like enough to come back often.

  A place to feel calm in midst of the hectic city. There's very little traffic that comes through here which makes the place feel a bit quieter than just one avenue down. You can see the UN and the Chrysler building from this location also.

  Wander in and find a quiet place to escape city hecticness. Sit on a bench and relax. Examine the variety of shrubbery. If it is not winter, see the birds and butterflies. Down side is old furnishings and not much in the way of nearby delis or restaurants.
