  I was assigned a public defender, after much pleading, to defend me against a petty charge. I was treated with respect by everyone in the public defender's office. The public defender that was assigned to me was extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. We had a very good rapport. When I finally went to trial, I was found not guilty. So there is justice left in the world.
