  This bank needs to update their hours on Google. I came on a Friday because Google says you close at 6pm when you actually close at 5pm. Please update.

  horrible serves, I applied for a car loan in advance, they approved me. Then when I went to them with the paper work from the dealer, and took two days to respond. Leaving me In the dark. Then requested I need a co-signer, very unprofessional. Not knowing that, I had to rush around asking family member if they would co-sign. Something that could been complete avoided. BBT is well known for these unprofessional acts.

  Rate them on a scale of 0!!!! Terrible thief's.... BB&T will take your money and will hold what's owed and due to you!!! Terrible People and company... Don't open a account.... They hold your money and only give you some a little at a time like your their child.....GIVE ME MY MONEY!!!!! BB&T Wow where do I begin... Highly unprofessional ... Liars to the fullest degree... Let me explain a little of my situation... I had a check for roughly 6k that was paid to me as overage from my school!! Now I didn't deposit the check to the bank I bank with currently because I didn't want to wait 7 days to hold my money... So I went to BB&T and they told me I would have to wait 5 days... Only unless I open a account... Now prior to agree to this situation.. I said I rather not open a account... My bank history with another bank is not so good... The banker tells me... No worries.. no big deal.. we'll end result he got my BB&T account opened.. with my 6k check deposited... Now the only catch is this... "I have to wait 24 hrs before getting any funds.. but he said I can give you $100.00 to leave the bank with or maybe it was $200.00 .. not big difference I was ok with that... Whatever.... Next day rolls around 4-23-2019 I see my money in bank I'm useimg the application and all.. the banker calls me... But I miss his call because I had various medical appts at the Veteran Affairs hospital... He says hey we have to close your account because of unseen circumstances with the bank I told them about... I said ok what do I do.. he says we'll your funds are available but also call this 1800 number to see what they say . In the meantime your account is on block funds, I said what is that... U guys have all my money .. I call the number speak with consumer personnel they tell me I have no block... I can get my money from bank.... I get to bank and the banker is not trying to talk to me .. he tells me funds on hold or block... Blah blah blah .... I said no such thing.... Even consumer people stated there is no hold .. the banker arranges meeting with manager.. and pretty much gives me a BS story on why I can't get my money .. the funds were available .. and approved but there is hold ... Which at that time from moment I walked into bank there was no hold because I was able to log into app and use my card prior to walking into bank.... So the manager then initiated a hold while I was sitting in his office because before I left the bank I could no longer log into the app.... My account was opened 1 day ago . I barely had used my new debit card.. with maybe 6 transactions. And they tell me I can't get my another 5k until transactions posted but they would mail my check.... First off ... My account is closed so what do u mean u will mail me my check.. that are taking my money hostage for a matter that has nothing to do with BB&T and to top it off I didn't want to open the damn account in the first place!!!!!! This was the most unprofessional experience ever... And they treated me unfairly and like a criminal and I do not appreciate it .. you had no reason to hold my money.... It's illegal.. I don't have a account with you guys and you lied to my face... I want my money and I don't want to wait for a check when the funds where clear... you guys are liars and you take advantage of people... The manager said so I won't have a hardship I can give you $1000.00 of your money .,.. now you tell me you can pull strings but not all my money only $1000.00 I'm going to take this issue all the way up......   This BB&T bank is very accessible. I like the 24hr ATM's (there are two) located side by side inside the bank building. Only draw back is there is no drive thru. The bank lady greeted me with a genuine smile that forced me to smile back (Lol) even though I still didn't have my morning 🍵 coffee yet 😣

  I opened an account with this bank on line. I put money in the account it TAKES 2 WEEKS before you receive a debit card. ONE agent will say ONE thing and the other will say another. THERE is not enough agents in the bank. THERE are extended waits. It took me an hour to see a banker who could not help me.
