::Decent sound quality, but it was way too loud. I had to leave before my ears started to bleed. This place also has a really strange pungent smell. For a divey venue it's fine, but nothing special.

::Great location, vibes, cocktails and music (Live and djays). Diversity is the spice of life and Tropicalia takes you outside the "bubble". Mix up the music! Irie!

::The place in itself and staff are nice (the only reasons why I could come back). However over the three bands playing on stage, only one was listenable. The other two were (sorry)... atrocious (in addition to the sound which was a way too loud). The public was only made up of families and members of the other bands... I do not know how the bands selection is made and maybe I did not come on the right day, but for a Saturday night I was strongly disappointed by the stage (and I'm not the only one). I lost $12 cover and my ears came out in blood. Will not come again unless I checked the bands before coming.

::Great dance scene BUT if you are checking a coat/a single woman GTFO! Paid to check my coat and managers took my ID info, etc. because an employee messed up. Unfortunate situation, but if you want to have a good time at a place with GOOD MANAGEMENT go elsewhere!!!

::This is the only place I like to dance at. They got rid of 80s night it seems, but that's fine cause the music is still better than other places. People tend to be nice and not creepy. But it is small so it gets really crowded and drinks sometimes get spilled.
