::Dojo room is very small. Very cold during the winter. And what’s with that cap Sensei is constantly wearing? For the past few months he has been very moody, seems angry at times.

::I have attend this place for a few years. On my first impression, it seems like a pretty decent dojo. At first, he was motivated to actually teach. Now, he is just a money greedy person. He always tries to get us to waste more money just so he can gain profit. He tries to create all sort of "special" events just so we can waste more money. He also tries to bribe us to advertise for him. Don't get hypnotized into his sweet talking. You may be asked to attend free sessions but classes are never as they seem. First of all, he doesn't teach at all. He just sits on his desk telling us what to do. He talks about all the amazing fantastic things he has done despite the fact that he doesn't do anything. One time, I failed to understand a technique he told us to do. i asked another kid to help me understand. He had a tantrum, saying how its very considerable disrespectful; however, he see. It is astonishing how fast a man can change his values from karate to money. He is a disgrace to karate itself.

::I personally didn't enjoy this karate that much don't get me wrong its not bad it just needs some more work. I went to this karate in August of last year and it wasn't as I expected. For starters lets start with the room you are doing karate in, it is so narrow you could barley move two feet without hitting someone or touching someone else by accident a little more smaller and you would probably break the mirror. This room you are in is not possible to actually move around that much and in Karate you need lots of space to move around and to actually use the skill at full potential. I took Shotokan when I was younger and I remember how a Dojo is suppose to look like that room I can't say should be called a Dojo. Secondly is the teacher don't get me wrong he is a great mentor and teacher if only I can say he knew all I see him doing is sitting down in his chair hitting his desk with some type of stone in some rhythmic pattern just so that we know when to go. Not to mention he doesn't wear the uniform and is always with a hat. In my other karate Shotokan that would be considered very disrespectful and even an insult to the Dojo. He seems to know what he is doing and always talks about how he had trouble when he was learning karate I wish he could interact more with us instead of letting other children teach us instead of himself. Personally I feel like as a Sensei he should be first in line to teach instead of the students but I don't blame him since the room is barley good enough to contain 5 students let alone 10 or more. Again this is just me but its up to you I feel if you want to actually learn self-defense and disciplinary skills you should search someplace else because this place isn't for you but if you want to do it more for competition and show which is what I think this is mostly for go for it. I at the end didn''t like it and wouldn't go back to it.

::My daughter has been here for 7 years. As a single mom, this teacher became her mentor and helped her mature through hardships. Thank you! And by the way, she won a few championship in the national tournaments near Long Island! So proud of her! This teacher gives her so much inspiration to be better and better each day! I will recommend everybody to come to this school!
