  Out of 686 small transmission repair businesses in 3 states, Tri-County Transmission has one of the 12 worst Better Business Bureau ratings. The Oregon Department of Justice has 8 complaints on file under Tri-County Transmission. These are just the complaints I found under this name. They also like to go by other names like Portland Import Transmission, and Town Center Auto Repair. They don't honor their warranties. They do crap work that will fail after they take your money. They are no stranger to law suits. They lie so much you would think they had an allergy to the truth. They write their own fake reviews. And Tom is an angry- ANGRY psycho. You don't have to believe me, but DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH BEFORE you make a significant financial commitment to these crooks. Look up their BBB record and do the industry comparison. Call the Attorney General and ask about prior complaints. If I had let my toddler pick a random shop by drooling on an ad in the phone book, I would have found someone better. Good luck!!

  I have been a return customer now, for several years, always been treated very well, & fair. I will continue to return here for repairs as needed, Mr. Weedman may have a lofty personality but that comes w/age... thing is he's fair & makes things right...If he does a repair w/a break-in... listen & do what he tells U, his mechanic Knowledge is 2nd to non around these parts.

  I am happier than a steak escaping from the grocery store. These boys over at Tri-County Transmission fixed me right up. They even negotiated some on the price and I saved me some coin. VERY HAPPY!!

  I used these guys for having my brakes done. They replaced all pads and rotors and also checked the transmission to make sure it was in good shape. I could not be happier with both the price and service they provided. The owner even came in on a Saturday to help. Great job, will return~!
