::A hidden gem in Jax, if you dont have anything to do and want to go to a quick interesting and interactive activity to get out for the afternoon. This place is it. Kids will love the turtle touch tank, they are adorably sweet and friendly. They even have a gorgeous Barred Owl which was a delight to see. The goat pen is amazing with a overhead walkway that allows the animals to roam from one enclosure to another. Their gopher tortoise collection is pretty neat as you get to see them congregate in an area so you can observe them naturally exploring and digging their holes.

::The idea is really cute and we enjoyed the hands on museum and animals, especially the goats! But the area is not the best area...

::Went on a field trip. It was outdoors and the children loved the nature walk and the animal encounters.

::Like the place. Wish the owners would allow for debris removal. I understand historic references but trash is different.
