I straight up love this place. The first time I came by a few years ago, they were to-go only, but now you can actually post up and drink your beer. Intimate brewery space, the clientele are polite and well-behaved, and Rob, Tanya, and Anthony are super affable and generous. My only worry is that this place will continue to blow up (see Other Half Brewing) and you won't be able to even stand in there anymore. The beers are fantastic, rustic European ales. I like the balance between trusted beers like golden ales and more exotic things like saisons made with grape must. They take interesting risks but also stick to tried an true classics.

I love Transmitter's approach to brewing. Using singular yeast strains and novel ingredients, they come up with exceptionally interesting beers. I stop in whenever I'm biking through the area, and their 500ml bottles fit perfectly in a bicycle bottle rack.

Small brewery (mostly) known for their saisons and farmhouse ales. Free samples of three different beers. There are no draft beers available, but bottles and cans can be purchased to stay or to go. The seating area is located in the middle of the brewery. So get one to stay and enjoy it while watching more beer being brewed.

Nice, small & rustic brewery in the busy industrial area of Long Island City. One of the very few breweries that has made Saison their flagship beer. Beer is not served on draft and all the beers are either bottle conditioned or can conditioned. They have very limited samplers, limited seating, no food, and still 4 stars because they have great beer!

This little brewery is such a hidden gem in NYC. The beers taste great and can be a very welcome break from the East Coast style IPA's that are everywhere. The beers are unique Belgian inspired, lots of Saisons, Sours, Goldens etc. The real reason I keep going back is the customer service, which is second to none. I have been to this Brewery multiple times and on each occasion the brew master will sit down and chat with me about the beer and even gave my wife a free bottle on her birthday!
