Tran Optometrist in Fort Worth

  I would avoid this Optometrist. I made an appointment for 3:00PM. When I arrived, Dr. Tran allowed 2 walkins to go before me. When I protested, citing my appointment just one of the walkins was moved behind me in the line. Dr. Tran's English was a bit worrisome. She could could not understand me and had to have me repeat the letters in my name multiple times. As I waited, a gentleman came in asking for assistance because he could not see through the glasses made to Dr. Tran's prescription the prior day. I left, fearing to proceed with the appointment. When I reviewed the 5 star reviews for Dr. Tran, I found that both were from users with a single review to their credit. They look bogus. Removing these outliers, Dr. Tran's average rating would currently be a single star.

  Dr. Tran was so quick, patient, and wonderful! I will definitely be returning and recommending her to others.

  I've been a patient of Dr. Tran's for a couple of years now. She has always been very professional and courteous. She talked to me about my lens strengths and how that effects my eyes when I read a computer all day. She was very helpful when I got some mulberry wood dust in my eye and had a terrible reaction. She gave me some sample drops and it cleared me up that day. I see some people have said that their office is greedy or that her English was "worrisome". She speaks English very well. She has a bit of an accent, but I have never had a problem communicating with her. She is not greedy and has never charged me too much for my appointments even during my emergency visit.

  I've been going to Dr. Tran's office for several years. She is very nice, thorough, and diligent. I'm not sure what other people's issues are on here but I can say that I have never had an issue and enjoy our visits and the ease of popping in and out of her office.

  Both my husband and myself had a great visit two years ago with Dr. Tran. She was very thorough and it was a reasonable price. We purchased our glasses from Costco and are happy. Fast forward, I recently had an eye injury and Dr. Tran was SUPER thorough in checking my eyes. She explained what she saw and gave a very good clear explanation. She told me what to look for that would be concerning.
