  As part of a convention I attended in Tuscon these Desert Jeep Tour's were offered. We had a lot of fun and actually learned a lot from the guides. Our tour included a breakfast on a ranch that was also well done. It really was amazing how much our tour guide knew about the local plants and animals, he stopped and cut a few plants open for us to taste and smell. It was very well done. Being part of the convention I have no idea how much it cost though, so I can't comment on the value that way. I only had a cell phone camera which was kind of a bummer, If you have a "real" camera I would suggest you bring it. Or even binoculars would have been nice, you can see for many miles out there.
