  Staff who work in this location are mostly friendly and helpful. Occasionally you may encounter a few customer service staff who can be rude and don't care about the customers, but the most of them are nice. My only gripe is that they have gradually taken away quite many items I used to get there through the years, and they now have fewer selections of items than it did before. Nonetheless, it is still a nice, clean local market to shop with reasonable price.

  Awesome staff, awesome prices, awesome products! What's more to say?! It's awesome all the way around. If you live crackers with cheese they have an amazing box of cheese crackers and a small container of mini buttery chocolate chip cookies. Even if your looking for something to make fast for dinner they have all the types of food you could be craving. I suggest stocking up on water here if your the type of person who carries extras in the car.

  Used to live in El Cerrito and now missed TJ's especially their services. They're always accommodating and respectful of your preferences. They don't push you around like other stores I've been. When we're in EC, we stop by and shop.
