::We stay here once a month for a day or two while visiting son in Cary...Very clean, quiet place with one of the best in-hotel free breakfasts I've ever come across.

::We were there for two weeks. Things I like breakfast, behavior of the staff, kitchen and location of the hotel, has a walking trail near by. However, we had some issues in connecting to internet many times, and hotel desk was asking us to coordinate with internet provider. Though all the time they resolved the issues but after calling and waiting for minutes. Floor AC was not working properly, it was noisy. We had to change the room because of no hot water available in bath tub. It has gym, pool and paid laundry, plenty of parking space.

::Stayed here for 14 days as part of my relocation to RTP area. House cleaning is horrible. Shabby job. They don't clean all rooms and inspite of requesting to clean next day, no one turned up. They don't clean room even twice a week and only once a week. My room hasn't been cleaned in last 8 days. I have stayed in many Marriott properties and not worthy of Marriott tag

::I'm being generous with the 2 stars. When I first arrived the woman that checked us in was so sweet. We had a nice conversation but then the stay went downhill. I booked online a 1 bedroom suite. They gave me a studio. So I went back downstairs to speak with the woman. She not so patiently explained to me that was all they had and that they were an older hotel in the chain and they didn't have 1 bedroom suites. But they still charged me for the 1 bedroom suite. The room was liveable but had a musky odor that they tried to hide with deodorizer. Then the TV didn't work but after talking to the woman at the front desk 3 times I wasn't about to go down for the 4th time. The greatest part of my stay was when they assigned someone else the room I was staying in and a strange man walked in. He was just as shocked as I was. Poor guy. Poor me and my kid. I think we all had heart attacks. Then I pulled out the sofa bed. That was fun. I had to really work for it. Had to move the whole sofa so the bed would open. Did not have furniture mover on my mini vacation bingo card. So, in conclusion, I'm pretty sure there are better places to stay in Cary. Not worth the price.

::Not bad! 3.8 out of 5 isn’t allowed on the Google rating system, but that’s what I’d give this place if I could. But good, overall! Why this hotel was a bit of a mixed bag…I would have given this hotel a higher rating but for two things: 1) the terribly slow Wi-Fi, and 2) there were a couple of busted items (shampoo wasn’t mounted and couldn’t be, the phone didn’t work). As for the web, when I inquired about the internet speed (an extremely important thing to have running well, these days), the gentleman at the front desk told me, “yeah, unfortunately that happens when a lot of people are online.” This was not what I wanted to hear, frankly, but I was able to use my iPhone hotspot to continue working. Other than those complaints, there were plenty of positives to report. The breakfast was EXCELLENT and Fatima, the woman in charge of it, was extremely attentive and good at her job. This is the only Marriott spot that I’ve seen serving egg bites/crustless quiches which were 10 out of 10, and one reason I’d consider returning (assuming they fix the internet!). The UV light did not find anything amiss, unlike our previous stay the ALoft in SC (see Isle of Palms review). The place was extremely clean and smelled great. A personalized welcome message was waiting for me on my TV screen when I entered the room (!), and Cassandra was also very friendly and helpful (she was running the front desk the following day). I tried to speak with the manager but he was always busy with something. I can’t give this hotel an enthusiastic two thumbs up bc of the critical problem of “extremely slow” internet speed, as per my online speed test, but if they fix that and the other small issues, they’d be my go-to spot when I’m passing through Cary!
