::WORST WORST TOPS BBQ EVER!!! POOR SERVICE FROM MANAGEMENT ON DOWN!!! ANYTIME YOU WALK IN TO PLACE A ORDER AND THE MANAGER IS STANDING AT THE REGISTER TEXTING AND NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THE CUSTOMER THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING. THEN THE LITTLE CASHIER HAD THE NERVE TO LOOK AT ME LIKE IM TAKING HER ORDER INSTEAD OF SAYING MAY HELP YOU OR ARE YOU READY TO ORDER.. SECOND TIME AND VERY LAST TIME GOING TO THIS PITIFUL POOR OF A SERVICE RESTAURANT. AND YES I CALLED CORPORATE AND WILL DO A FOLLOW UP TO MAKE SURE THE PRESIDENT KNOWS MY EXPERIENCE THERE!!!!!

::Great staff, Mediocre BBQ. I ordered the combo plate so I could try all three meats. The woman behind the counter didn’t know what I meant when I asked if the ribs were dry or wet, but she sure was nice. The brisket tasted off...almost like tongue. The pork shoulder was middling. The ribs were fatty, no flavor of any spices, cooked with sauce on them. The only thing I really liked was the sweet potato fries. If you want really good BBQ in Memphis, go to Central BBQ.

::Honestly, I probably did it wrong. I shouldn't have gotten ribs here after already going to Central, who inevitably set the bar too high. Central's more of a casual restaurant style and Tops is really just like a BBQ Diner. Don't expect too much out of it, and don't worry about shelling out for a rack of ribs - Like it said on the wall "Worth stopping in if you're hungry.. Yes. Worth a pilgrimage? No"
