  A staple to the iron bound section of Newark, where Portuguese culture and food prevail. Of the years my family has been going here I can't remember a single bad experience. They have a formal dinner area, rooms to rent for parties, and a bar section where you will find the men's room. Food is amazing and portions are generous. Drinks are also equally good.

  The best beef a portuguesa I've had so far, delicious flan, and excellent espressos.

  Absolutely beautiful in the inside. Delicious soup, entrees, and desserts and reasonably priced. You get large portions. Our waiter was absolutely phenomenal , very friendly and very helpful. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Definitely a place to try if heading back from the airport or if in the area.

  Best Portuguese food I've had so far, attentive staff, very cozy, and parking across the street, very thought out place. They take pride in doing things right and have 3 specials a day that you can see before you oder and a dessert tray see what you're getting and everything at a reasonable price. Marked as a most go experience.

  It was such a fluke that we drove by and found this restaurant! A pearl of Portuguese cuisine in Newark. For reasonable price, food is so good. Decent sangria, authentic appetizers freshest fish and impressive desert menu. Service is exceptional, staff is very nice to talk to. Feels like I visited Lisbon again. Marked as place to return to in my list.
