  For those new to custom suits, sport coats and shirts, you should give them a try. The prices are about what you'd spend at Nordstrom for an off-the-rack suit, but at Tom James, you have a custom tailored suit and a perfect fit. Their sales team walks you through the entire process and helps you look on-trend & on-point (without any pressure to buy). As for the other review about fabrics, I haven't seen any concerns. I have worn my sport-coat 100s of times and it looks great, even after being crumpled in overhead storage on an airplane!

  Positives: Appears to be quality construction and said to be made in the US. Negatives: Fabrics are not top notch and fit is likely better from an off the rack solution even based on multiple visits for alterations.
