Super large store. I always come out with something. As with all stores like these, you can't go in looking for something super specific..

I always find something I can't live without, even though it doesn't have as much merchandise as other locations.

Really nice and surprisingly large tj maxx off of 16th street mall. When you come in you have to take the escalator to go up. I'm not sure if they did this for loss prevention purposes but it works. I come here for cheap home decor. Last time I was here I found a nice mirror for my house for $15. I've received so many compliments on it sitting in my entry way. I guess they have constant new merchandise. I recently perused their cosmetics section recently and they have a lot of the brands you'd find at sephora but for half off. People like to say that tj maxx buys damaged things from brands but most of the stuff I've found is new. It is also illegal to sell expired food so check out their food! It's usually gourmet food you'd find at whole foods for a lot more then they price it here. As always check for expiration as with any food you buy. The store is surprisingly large so I had to ask a staff member where to look for things. They are usually very helpful. There is no free parking. There are meters you pay by the hour on the street. You can always pay for mall underground parking which is more safe (no parking tickets!) If you plan on shopping for awhile.

Love this store. You can find high fashion clothes for less. You can also get designer clothes for less.

Doesn't have the best selection of some home decor (bedding, towels, wall art) and it's a pretty small store. Also, no kids department which seems odd. Lines tend to be long, but I guess that's expected for the location, but there's usually only 1-2 cashiers and 10+ ppl waiting in line.
