  Very pretty place, we came in late in the day and there were plenty of people there without feeling too crowded. Wildflower island can be accessed by appointment only

  Great nature hiking trails. You must not miss the northeastern natives Flower Island. To visit the Flower Island, you must call in advance. Otherwise just visit. Wear comfortable walking or hiking shoes... and be ready to enjoy nature. A calendar full of activities for children and adults. Please Note: Parking is no longer free on the weekends.

  Nice place for a hike around a lake. Unfortunately, parts are next to a road so it does not seem very remote. We enjoyed visiting the animals.

  Great for family hikes and snow shoeing. A variety of terrain and difficulty. Walk around the lake for an easy, flat hike or check out one of the many other trials if you are up for something a little more challenging.

  Outstanding and beautiful location for both easy and more challenging hikes. Recommend the twin lakes trail - low/medium difficulty for ~1.5 hours. Can easily fit in a number of other hikes into a day. The nature centre doesn't have a huge amount to buy though so suggest bringing own food supplies!
