  Olympian and master fencing coach Mika'il Sankofa is one of the finest saber coaches in North America. My daughter, then age 12, was a foil fencer since the age of 7 and a very good youth fencer. She decided to "try" saber with Mika'il and never left. She is today a nationally ranked womens saber fencer and a full support fencing recruit to an Ivy League university, where she is a starter on the NCAA Division 1 fencing team. Had it not been for the expertise and patience of Mika'il none of this would have happened. He is an outstanding coach and works wonderfully with young students of every age! If your child wants to learn the sport of fencing from a real pro, run do not walk to Thrust Fencing Academy!
