  Jake is the best mechanic there is. Doesn't overcharge, and outlines options on cost savings.

  Thermostat was going haywire on my 2001 BMW X5. I got a few quotes from Englewood Cliffs and Queens. Queens wasn't bad but I wasn't into paying 2 tolls to get to Queens. Googled auto repair in Closter, NJ. Only a few reviews for Thoroughbred Auto Repair but were rated high. Decided to call. What a find! They look like honest mechanics and they are! They were the lowest quote. They were very accommodating and knowledgeable. Jake will be the first guy to call for service or advice on all my, friends and families vehicles. I'd give them my highest recommendation.
