  I have had some pretty rough experiences with dentist... but that is absolutely not the case with Dr. Thorne. He is completely professional and compassionate with his care. His knowledge of dentistry is incredible and I completely trust him to take care of not only me, but my family as well.

  Horrible experience. As seems to be the norm for small businesses in the greater Fort Worth area, all they care about is money. Went to the office to get my teeth cleaned, as I have done religiously every 6 months since childhood (I am 50). Told them I would only come in every 6 months for cleanings and they said the it is now recommended to come in every 3 months. I let them know that I would still be sticking with every 6 months so they determined they did not want me as a patient because they do not "bend the rules". Now I wasted an hour a half at their office today and I still have to find someone to clean my teeth. If you want to be treated like an ATM instead of a patient, I highly recommend this place.

  After my last dentist retired and a new doctor bought his practice, I had a bad experience and some reservations about dentistry in general...no one likes tooth pain. However, after doing my research I can safely say I found my new dental home. The staff is very kind and concerned about my comfort level. At no time did they reject my questions and anxieties about my pain level. The conversation throughout the procedure eased my worries and the niceties throughout the office make it that much more comfortable. I will come back to Thorne Family Dentistry in the future.

  Discovering Thorne Family Dentistry is like walking down a rural side walk only to stumble upon a precious gem lying on the ground, Yes, they are profoundly good at what they do and because they are ran by a husband and wife ( Dr. Matt and Dr. Jenna ) you get a feeling of family dynamics. They were gentle and comforting while paying strict attention to detail while working on my kids, wife and myself. They were very informative, patient and understanding. Premium dentistry. I can't say enough about their practice.

  I must say I am shocked to see the low ratings for Thorne Family Dentistry on Yelp, as it came highly recommended by multiple family members after chipping my tooth. Since I am visiting on vacation, I figured I would heed their advice and I was able to make an appointment the following day. While their office is one of the nicest I've visited, the staff is what really stood out to me. Upon walking in the door, I felt as if I had been life long friends with all of them. Since no one is looking forward to going to the dentist, it makes a huge difference to feel warmly welcomed and relaxed. I was promptly escorted to a room with state of the art equipment and began the process of taking x-rays. My hygienist had the perfect combination of being both friendly and knowledgeable, and we quickly turned our discussion to our Memorial Day plans and love for 80's music. Before I knew it, my X-Rays were developed and Dr. Matt Thorne arrived seconds afterward. He studied my situation and took the time to explain what causes had attributed to the chipped tooth. He was very patient while describing the benefits and concerns with each option and he allowed me to make a decision with zero pressure. Within minutes he corrected my issue and I was on my way. All in all, my visit only took 35 minutes and my expectations were blown away. When I move back to Texas from California, I have found my go to dentist!
