    I'm not picky when it comes to apartments. I got a great rate here, but had a lot of legitimate issues. Pros: 1. Cool Place I liked the location and what the apartment looked like. It made me feel fancy. 2. Roof top views super cool. Cons: 1. My ceiling leaked. Not a little bit. One leak was in my closet, one was in the bathroom, one was in the kitchen, and another two in the hallway. Did I ask for it to be fixed? YES! Several times. I mean at least 4-7 times, and it is still leaking. The toilet was running so I was charged $100-300 even after I reported this to maintenance several times. 2. Maintenance is VERY slow. The maintenance request system is almost always down. So naturally, I email maintenance. I emailed/called about 3 times before I ran into Cathy and talked to her. Then my (lightbulbs were out, yay candles!) issues were fixed. Also, this should have been treated as a more urgent matter since my windows could not really brighten up the place. 3. Amenities are almost always broken. The hot tub jets don't work at all ever. It is almost once a week that we get an email saying that an amenity is broken. The hot tub runs cold, the wet spa doesn't function, the pool is closed for cleaning, etc. That is ridiculous if you ask me. 4. It is SOOOOO understaffed. This is creates a couple of issues: a. It is difficult to get packages. Cathy is the only person working in a pretty large building, and she needs to take breaks (like any normal human), but it has gotten to the point where I can't pick up packages at any time because she is not there or the people across the street are too busy. There is usually 1-2 people that can help at the other office, but there are over 500+ units (a guess) for those people to assist. b. Safety. i. Health- I got off of the elevator one night and there was vomit in the hall, so I called maintenance. It was probably around 8pm-9pm on the 4th of July. Maybe I was expecting too much, but when I woke up in the morning, the vomit was still there. ii. Residence Policing- Noise complaints, unwanted visitors, garage security, etc. There are still only 1-2 people that can help with these issues for 500+ units. That's not enough people especially in a downtown area. c. Bad training/High turnover. Some of the staff is wonderful, but I've had several guests that cannot park in the garage, get my key card, etc. because the staff person isn't trained in how to do that. It is very frustrating. D. Sewer water leaked into the basement with big puddles. This was unresolved for almost a day, which doesn't seem safe for the residents. 5. Billing I have my rent money. I put it on autopay, yet every month, it "doesn't go through on time." I even had a lady from the apartment do it for me, and it still didn't work. Now, I'll look like a bum because my rent was "late."

    The most beautiful building in downtown! I've lived here more than three years and management is helpful and fair. Repairs are done promptly. Noise levels are not too high because of the high ceilings. The pool is fantastic and common spaces are clean and neat. There are some tight squeezes in the parking garage, so if you drive, be sure you check it out before you lease.

    This apartment community is the worst. Management censors free speech by removing any negative social media post they have control over. They require you to provide all of your vehicle information and tow your car regardless. I've now had my car towed twice out of my own reserved spot and my car has been damaged both times. Security is a joke. Packages get stolen all the time. A woman was mugged in the garage a few weeks back. Cars are being broken into. They accept housing vouchers so there are plenty of unsavory characters in these buildings. Avoid this place at all costs. I've worked for 5 years in the apartment industry and I've always been understanding of managments perspective, but this place is a mess.
