  I was riding the bus toward Bloomington and starving for food at the layover in Indy. It was late so none of the bars had kitchens open and this place was my last resort. I felt silly asking if food was served at this hour and the bartender's reflex response was "no." But a minute later I think she realized I was a starving traveller. She must have started up the frier just for me. She made me some great food at a very reasonable price. It's a cool bar anyway but these little bits of hospitality are what make coming down south worth it. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in town.

  Great place! I had the fries which were pretty standard and the cauliflower with ranch which was delicious. Christie was nice and it's a quick walk from the convention center.

  Christie made me feel at home. Even though home is Key West. Awesome!

  Prices have gone up, new bartenders, but ultimately still one of the best dives in Indy proper- ask for Mel.
