  The staff is simply amazing. I came in late and right before the room service cut off after flight delays. Not only were the chat functions on the app useful but the staff in the front desk made sure I got a good meal and threw in a few goodies from the gift shop as a courtesy. Talk about service and hospitality. Then, the entire stay the staff was courteous,and super helpful. 6 stars.

  A solid hotel for a short stay. I didn’t use any of the amenities so I can’t review those. The few employees I interacted with were helpful and pleasant. The room was clean, and a nice size for a basic room. One complaint is the bed was very uncomfortable, and felt very hard. If a hard mattress is your thing, you’ll love it. Another was the AC unit was very finicky and I couldn’t get it to behave. I had it set at 65 and it felt like it was at least 75 in the room. Eventually I turned it all the way down and it was comfortable. The thermostat being by the window probably doesn’t help. All in all a comfortable stay for one night and I’ll book it again if I’m in the area for a short trip again.

  This is less than what I expect from a 4 star hotel (and the price). The best thing was the apple cinnamon elixir at the check in. It’s available as welcome drink at the lobby for free. House keeper comes everyday and threw away too many things. Towels were added everyday and never taken back (5 days so it’s quite a lot piled up in the room). Also they came in anyway to do the restroom despite saying “do not disturb”. As a Marriott member you get a free bottle of water in the room. My room doesn’t have breakfast included but there was a room service card you can fill in for a room service breakfast. Great area for restaurants and shopping centers nearby.

  Mistakenly duplicated my order for three guests. It so happened that I ordered two rooms. It is quite obvious that three guests will not book two rooms for three guests with an interval of two minutes. Canceled one order. However, the hotel charged the room rate which we canceled. And this despite the fact that we paid and stayed in another room. Of course, management always has a reason in the fine print. In general, we were not satisfied with the Westin, Arlington, and will not recommend this hotel to anyone. Stayed a month ago in Alexandria, Virginia and the experience was great, everything is comfortable and alert to your desires. The Westin Hotel, Arlington almost ruined the Marriott experience.

  Came here for a convention. The room had a king bed and the room was good sized. The place was clean and there are a few places where some maintenance would help the room present better. The bed was soft with two devits. The pillows were very very soft with little support. Still I sleeping was not terrible.
