::Great place to relax, have some drink and watch all your favorite games live. Nice food too.

::I love this PUB. The best sports bar in the UES. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The local costumers became an extended family. The owner is always very courteous and attentive to the costumers and their needs. Being at The Weir, it is like being at an episode of "CHEERS". I guess a just dated myself. I highly recommend this place.

::Loved the atmosphere, food and drink options. Best fresh oyster and chicken wings in the Upper East Side.

::Love this place. I come all the way fromJersey just to enjoy the crowd and the staff is great. I can’t stop recommending The Weir Burger and the Cider. Overall a great place to be.

::We had called earlier to check whether they were showing the Colombia vs Venezuela game and whether they had a high chair, and was answered by a very pleasant staff member who said that they had both. We headed down and true enough it met those two simple requests, and the guy ended up being our server for most of our stay until he skated off on his skateboard since it was end of his shift and relied on his co-workers to take care of us and close out tab. We were not once checked on, and when we had to go up to the bar to ask whether there was a dessert menu, we were curtly answered by the short and bald bartender who just came in for the evening shift that "No, there are no desserts", and swiftly turned back to continue his conversation with a girl. We didn't even get to order another drink, and decided against it. So we watched the rest of the game and still no one even popped by to see whether we even wanted the check. We were very close to walking out. I had to get up again and ask the female server for the receipt. I was so upset! I snatched the receipt away and just wanted to get out of there. It was as if we were invisible or something. I get that you don't get tipped for the previous server's customers, but for goodness sake have some basic customer service etiquette. No wonder this was our first time coming here, because it was never appealing anyway. The Barking Dog and The District nearby are so much better options if you're ever in the neighborhood.
