  Amazing experience for lunch! We split an alligator soup and New Orleans Smothered Catfish. The soup was ok but the catfish was incredible. The waitress was very attentive and polite and even split our dish into 2 with no extra charge. Would return again and would definitely recommend!

  I went here with family after a visit to George Washington’s Mount Vernon! The moment I walked I was like “Wow, what a cool diner!!!”, and from that moment, I knew that we were going to have an awesome dining experience, which I did!!! Our table was conveniently located upstairs right next to a medium-sized window, making it an ideal place for People watching on King Street! It was so enjoyable to see people walking down the street and jamming to music on a Saturday afternoon in the Summertime!!!!! 😎😉 For the dining experience, as an appetizer, I ordered Chinese-style ribs, which were coated with honey and were even quite juicy, which made it quite toothsome!!! Everyone at my table really enjoyed the appetizer, which was made with plenty of love! For the main course, I ordered the Grilled New York Steak, which tasted like a Whole Lotta Love!!! This would be a five-star review, had our steaks not been overcooked, since we wanted it cooked medium, but they came out as well-done, which removed its juiciness and its deliciousness. Nonetheless, I still had a wonderful dining experience!!

  Overall it was a very great happy hour experience. The staff was very friendly and the food was great as always. The only reason why I can’t give it a complete five stars is due to the lack of music. For happy hour I would expect some kind of music in the background but it was just back ground noise of people talking. Other than that, it was great.

  The food was delicious as was the service. We had the smothered catfish. Can’t remember The name of the other dish but it was catfish and poached eggs with mixed vegetables. The vegetables were a little more firm than my liking but I wanted something healthy. Both were very tasty and well flavored. Would recommend and will return. We also had the seafood beignet Which tasted similar to a fish cake and that was also delicious. I didn’t take a picture of it but it was really good.

  $$ - Yes someone got my five stars. I love food and this place was a wonderful Sunday night early dinner spot. Food was great, service great. For me the freshness of food is the best way to eat. And fresh was their meal from my salad,wasabi crusted oyster, trout and pasta. 😋 date night can't go wrong
