::This is the best Vitamin Shoppe in their chain that I've found: spacious, signage well placed, helpful staff, well stocked. When you're in a pinch (and you've run out of the brand you like) The Vitamin Shoppe has something comparable.

::1. I went to return three items, two unopened. The cashier told me that he had to keep my packing slip for “record purposes.” I called customer service, and they confirmed that they do NOT keep the slip for “record purposes.” 2. The cashier also wanted to refund one of my unopened items as store credit because it lacked a seal, although it had arrived that way. I had to take him to the back of the store and show him that all of the other products were similarly seal-less, and then he finally conceded. 3. The cashier told me that they had changed the return policy “just last week” (incorrectly), and that any item with a broken seal would be considered “damaged.” I called customer service, and they confirmed that all opened items are only eligible for store credit; however, this policy was not changed “just last week.” 4. The return policy is convoluted. It states: “You may return any opened, unopened, partially consumed, or fully consumed merchandise purchased from any The Vitamin Shoppe or Super Supplements store or any of the Sites to any store or Distribution Center at any time. When accompanied by a receipt or packing slip, you will receive the refund in the original form of payment.” This indirect and unclear wording lead me to believe that opened items are refundable. Long story short: The cashier incorrectly stated that the policy had changed “just last week”, almost incorrectly gave me store credit for an unopened item, and kept my slip for a made-up reason (confirmed by customer service). Thoroughly disappointed. I won’t be shopping here again.

::This place is great. The people are always friendly, helpful, and several recognize me even if I haven't been there in a while. The prices are reasonable too. I keep going back.
