  Food is always fantastic! Really love the potato dumplings and the wursts. Been there for dinner a bunch of times. Last week tried going there got lunch. Only go there for lunch if you do not mind waiting. Normally I don't like being rushed I like to take my time. So at first it was great. Normally you'd think only one server that's why it took so long for things to get done, nope; 3 tables, it took so long because the waitress had to give her whole life story to each table. When we asked for the check it took her 20min to get back to us because a new table had come in and she had to talk about Trump, old school flying, and the time she got bit by a camel on her first date.I So, great food, good beer, fantastic desserts from the bakery next door. Stick to dinner

  It's a local gem. When we have friends who visit for lunch or dinner, this is our go to. Our volunteer group goes for lunch for regular get togethers. Food is always good. The pretzel bread is delicious! Next store is their bakery so if we r too full to get dessert, we can grab it for later. My favorite is the mini black Forest cake... A little chunk of Heaven. A small Biergarten in the back is so much fun in the warmer weather.

  Very clean and comfortable. Friendly and welcoming. Partnered with the black forest bakery its all you want for a great night out.

  The food and decor is good. However the service is strange. Our server constantly acted very attentive (suggesting to get us more drinks, bread, extra plates) but then would disappear for 10 minutes and forget to ever bring us anything we asked for. This happened multiple times during our diner. It wasn’t even busy and our server had only one other table besides ours. Besides that she kept making weird comments which made my table uncomfortable. Service was terribly slow overall and the food took over 45 minutes to come out. Also, like the other reviews mentioned, the hostesses are incredibly rude without fail.

  Absolutely amazing! Old time feel, authentic food, authentic music, and authentic dressware for the servers! I heard from a friend of this little delight, and boy my life is better for it. I have been back three times now with different family and friends and it's always a treat, everyone enjoys it! They carry such a wide variety of German drinks on draft and behind the bar as well. It's very nice to see places like this, where you can go for an experience rather than just a bite to eat; which is impossible because the portions are huge and filling, in line with German tradition.
