::Organized store, super friendly associates who made it easy for me to mail out a package. Would come back here just because of the excellent service

::My experience really should be rated one star but I will give 2 since the employees at the store, as unhelpful as they were, remained polite and professional throughout. I shipped a package worth nearly $300 through this location a while back and through no fault of my own (or this stores employees) it was damaged and the contents we're subsequently lost. This being a franchise, apparently they have to file the grievance with UPS corporate on the customers behalf...This is where the pain and frustration began. After receiving a call from one of the employees, I was notified that my package (which was securely taped, bubble wrapped and under the allotted weight limit for the box) had come apart and the contents had been lost. In my opinion the only logical way this could have happened is if it was mishandled or flat out stolen. Long story longer, it has been nearly two months, I have had to contact the store multiple times to pry them for info; for which they say I need to talk to the owner (who is always conveniently gone till next week.) I left 3 messages with the employees for the owner to call me and help me talk to the even more unhelpful UPS corporate office -in India or wherever it is and they assured me I would be getting a call but alas my phone never rang. So this is my rant, a rant that never would have happened if someone would have gone the extra mile to just help me figure this out. BEWARE, if you ship an item with UPS they apparently have a long track record of just blaming the customer for their mistakes and leaving the unwitting store clerks to do their dirty work. What's the point of declaring the value or getting insurance if they don't take responsibility for their mistakes? And shame on UPS corporate for not giving the customers a voice in these matters and leaving it to their franchisee's who apparently have better things to do than take care or their repeat customers. Well...former customers that is.

::Notary is not present on Thursdays. Mild inconvenience so plan accordingly if you need something signed on a Thursday.

::This is my friendly neighborhood UPS Store. I go there often to fax and and make copies frequently. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The girls are always kind to me and very helpful. My husband is a disable combat Veteran and Kevin took time out of his busy schedule to help him with carrying his package. Thank you everyone

::Today, I spoke with the manager of the store, and she was very kind and nice enough to address all of my concerns. She told me that what happened was unfortunate, and looked into "my issue" and found the error, as well as my package that could not be found originally. As a result, I was impressed with her professionalism and commitment to her customers. With this amount of detail, I am sure this store is now on the right track back to the professionalism that made this store excellent in my mind, previous.
