::Went for a wedding. The ceremony was outside in a courtyard (seemed a bit tight for seating) but the reception room was very elegant. Staff was friendly.

::I hosted a meeting at this beautiful, historic hotel and was quite impressed by the great service and attention to detail. The St. Regis Washington, D.C. has an old-school grandeur and sense of history befitting a property just blocks from the White House.

::Went for the high tea. The scones were small and not fresh. The St. Regis blend tea was very good but with $55 per person actually being $72 per person with added gratuity (which was not explained to us until I asked, the receipt even asked for more tip) I would have expected over the top service and unlimited cakes and sandwiches, neither of which was present in our experience.

::Very well located. Staff goes the extra mile to welcome you and make you feel good. Rooms are a bit dated. A bit small but then, it's downtown DC! Beds are good & very comfortable but you will hear people talking in hallway as they pass by your door. Food was excellent.
